The Perfect Beach Day

Almost every morning we wake up it is cloudy and overcast. Sometimes the clouds roll away and we are surprised to see the sunshine. But today when we woke up the skies were blue and the sun was shining! I knew immediately it was a beach day! The beach we went to is not known to many people. You have to hike down a staircase from the road. The beach has a beautiful waterfall and a nice stream that runs into the ocean--perfect for little feet to wade in! We were able to see starfish and sea anemones clung to huge rocks in the middle of the beach. The wind came up at the end and we were able to fly our kite. The only thing that this perfect day was missing was our daddy! We missed him today and wish he could have played at the beach with us! Thanks daddy for working so hard so that we can play! We love you!
