Picture Perfect!

I haven't had many opportunities to take my kids to get their pictures taken. a) There is no place to have them taken in Tillamook b) it's expensive and c) inconvenient with three small kids. So anyway when I came to Utah I decided it would be nice to have some pictures taken of Ty, Mara, and Caleb. I called my really good friend Heidi and she not only took some great photos of the kids she came out to Tooele and went to dinner with me! It was so good to see her and we had a fun time trying to get these kiddos to smile! Caleb and Mara had no problem smiling for the camera--Ty on the other hand Oh man was that another story! He is a VERY determinted and head strong little boy and he did not want to cooperate! Thanks Heidi for being so patient!! By the end we finally got a good photo of him.

What a sweet little girl!

What a cute little man! Fixing his little shirt and laughing!

This is my favorite picture ever of my two boys! How sweet is that?

I love this photo of the three kiddos--with a little help from photo shop it will be a perfect picture without the binki!!

Good times with the grandparents!

It has been a really neat experience for Ty, Mara, and Caleb to spend time with their grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins here in Utah. We are so glad to have this opportunity to see them and get to know them each better. The other night we had a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa Lewis's house. We had a BBQ with Chelsie, Colin, Trish, and Garrett.

Caleb sure is a messy little eater. Nope, that's not a green tongue--it's beans!

Silly cousin Garrett! What is your plate doing on your head?!
Caleb loves chocolate cake!

Mara loved dressing up in her new princess dresses that Grandma bought her!
It was a perfect night for a walk over to the park!

Day of Dinosaurs!

Papa and Mimi took us down to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point to see all the big and scary dinosaurs. We thought we picked the perfect day to go because it was $2 Tuesday, and we figured all the kids would be in school--- boy were we wrong! It was complete chaos! Oh well, it was still fun and the museum was incredible. We watched the coolest 3D dinosaur movie which Ty thought was AWESOME and Mara thought was scary! The kids dug for dinsaour fossils in the sand.
Pretty neat place!
Check out those fossils Mara!
Ocean dinosaurs!
Even our little sweetie thought the dinosaurs were pretty neat!
What in the world?
Papa and Ty--two buddies looking at the dinosaurs!
Thanks Mimi and Papa for a fun day to the museum.
No sitting on the display--oops!
We liked seeing all the dinosaur bones!
Now we have a 'TY-rex' dinosaur and a caMARAsaurus'!!
Ty drew a picture of a dinosaur, this is the long neck!
Caleb enjoyed the museum but his favorite part was chillin' on the grass!
Chowing down on a few animal crackers and taking a little rest!
Here are my little herbavour dinosaurs eating plans! So silly!

Making memories at Liberty Park

Another tradition when coming home and visiting family is having a picnic at Liberty Park. This tradition actually goes back way before the time of my little family coming home to visit, I remember as a kid going to Liberty Park every year for the big Clegg family reunions. It was always a lot of fun to have all the cousins there and play ghosts in the graveyard, kick the can, and hide and seek. Because we have such a big family with lots of cousins it was perfect to play sports-- we always had enough people for two or more teams for baseball and volleyball.

This time at Liberty Park we all had a fun time playing croquet!

The kids always have a fun time playing at the playground:

We love wading our feet in the pools of water:

Papa bought us all tickets to ride one of the rides! Oh what fun to go on the ferris wheel and merry go round! Mara insisted on riding in a car!
The best part of the night was just being together as a family and spending time with each other. It was fun for the cousins to play together and get to know one another better.
