Good times at Lehi Fun Center!!

With our week long fun adventure with the Lewis family we headed down to Lehi fun center for more good times and family fun!!

These boys are best buddies! 

This might just have been my favorite part of the day!! We laughed so hard as John and I sped around in our little boat and spraying everyone! 

 It was so funny watching everyone laugh and spray each other!

The funniest part was spraying these boys! It was hilarious watching them get sprayed!

 Garrett did not like getting wet! Although it did feel good on such a hot day, it cooled us off!

 

Let's just say some of us got more wet than others! 

 

Grandma sure got soaked! Mara and Hope had a great time! 

 We had a good time playing mini golf!

 My kids love rock climbing!

 And Garrett had a fun time too!

Family Photos!

 We had our family pictures taken while John and Tracie were in town! They turned out great! What a great family I have been given! I love these sweet little darlings!

Such a great family! 

 

All because these two people fell in love! What a great man! I love him more than words can say! He is Mr. Wonderful! Nate is great! I am so glad he is mine forever and ever!

What precious little people I have! Love. Love. Love these kiddos. They are my world. They are my life! I am so thankful to be their mom! They are so cute, darling, and fun! Such great kids!

Mr. Ty! What a great first born! Couldn't ask for better! He is helpful, awesome, funny, kind, and handsome!

Miss Mara what a wonderful daughter! She is my little mini me! Everyone says we look so much alike, but I think she is much cuter and prettier! She is sweet, sassy, loving, helpful, and beautiful! 

Mr. Caluba! What a kid! I love him! He is such a funny kid! He makes me laugh. He is a tease, and my buddy! He is smart, cute, silly, and happy! 

 Mr. Carder boy! My sweet baby boy! Love this little guy! He makes me so happy! He is very busy! He is always smiling! He is my little cuddler! He is so special!

 Ty will climb any tree he can! It's one of his favorite things to do!

Love this family! Grateful to have such good in-laws! Couldn't have married any better!  

 

 All the grandkids!! Such a great group of kids! Nine grandkids and one on the way! My kids have awesome cousins!

Hiking Cecret Lake!

Oh the joy of hiking in a beautiful mountain full of wildflowers seeing gorgeous scenery and being with family! John, Tracie and Cedar came to town and we were able to go up Little Cottonwood Canyon and hike to Cecret Lake. It was awesome! The hike was perfect!

Even the drive up the mountain was fabulous! The weather in the valley below was so hot and getting to high elevation with cool mountain air was absolutely wonderful!!

Caleb too wanted a picture with the flowers! He loved hiking and climbing on all the rocks!

We had to park a little bit away from the actual trail head because it was such a popular hike! We took a little longer hike down this road before the trail actually began!

 

Here is our hiking crew (minus Carder who was asleep in the pack!) Cedar did awesome on the hike! She loved climbing the mountain!

Man vs wild!! The kids favorite show! We found this lean-to already constructed! We thought the kids might like staying in it over night! (nope!)

Ty is the king of the world! He couldn't help but climb the boulder after seeing Uncle John do it!

Then Caleb climbed up there too! It doesn't look very high in the picture, but it sure felt high up there when both my boys were on the top!

Mara wanted to do what the boys did so she too climbed up the rock!

Playing in the snow in July?! We found some snow along the hike and Caleb wanted to play in it! 

We made it to the top!! The view was worth the hike! We enjoyed a picnic lunch right along the lake. 

Nate and I did this hike many years ago before we had kids. It was a lot of fun to hike it again as a complete family! The kids sure enjoyed putting their feet in the lake and cooling off! 

 The only downside to the perfect day was the bugs when we got to the lake! As you can see from Ty's hat the bugs were disgusting and plentiful! They didn't bite, but they just bugged us!!

 Grandma Lewis came with us on the hike. Carder and Grandma taking a little rest!

The hike back down went by so quick! We all practically ran down the mountain! It was a great hike, the clouds started rolling in as soon as we were done. We barely missed a downpour! Glad we were able to get a hike in with John and Tracie! It sure was fun to see them!

Swim day!!

I love hot summer days and going to the swimming pool especially with a fun group of friends!! We all headed down to the Castle Dale Pool and enjoyed a fun day splashing and swimming!!

Love this little swimmin boy! I am so glad he will wear a life jacket because he has zero fear of water and loves jumping in with no concept of drowning!! 

 Mara loves going down the slide! She is finally tall enough to go down and she is gaining more confidence in the water.

My sweet Carder taking a little break and chowing down on a snack! He too loves swimming! 

That is one happy swimmer! He can't get enough of the pool!

  

Mara found a nice swimming noodle chair to sit on in the water!

 

Mara is getting more confident in the water, now we just need to teach her to be a good swimmer! She really likes the doggy paddle!

 Ty and his buddies wanted to see how many noodles they could use at one time!

Ty and William sure had a fun time swimming together! They were so funny trying to make a raft out of noodles!

 

Another reason I love swimming: it wears the kids out! They come home exhausted! Carder fell asleep before we even pulled out of the driveway! 

Sleeping Beauty!

One night I went in to tuck Mara in bed and she was already asleep and looked like a sleeping angel! She had done her hair and left in her bow! What a little sleeping beauty! 

 

If you look close under Mara's eye it's black and blue! She got hit in the eye with a (plastic) horseshoe by her friend! Oops! Thanks a lot friend!

Bubbles!!!

This summer is going by so fast! Maybe because we are staying busy every minute! Between swim lessons, piano lessons, tumbling, visiting family, reading, (even homework), scouts, using our pass of all passes...we have been extremely busy!! I haven't heard 'I'm bored' from my kids yet this summer so that is great! We also have been working on our 100 Fun Activities List! One of the items on the list was bubbles! We made homemade bubbles and used several different size objects to make big huge bubbles. Then we made snake bubbles. The kids loved these! I hadn't ever heard of them before but they looked fun!

Blowing bubbles out of a sock! It makes them into one big snake or cloud! It was really quite interesting!

 Ty made a bubble beard! He covered himself in bubbles!

Mara blowing a cloud of bubbles! It was fun to see all these clouds of bubbles all over the lawn! Then they would blow away into the sky! It was a really fun bubble day!

11 Months Old!!

My beautiful blond boy is bigger every day! Next month he will be ONE!! Yikes! I can't stand it! He sure is a fun kid! Mr. C. as we sometimes call him is on the go! He is constantly crawling, standing, and even cruising the furniture! 

When Carder's brothers and sister are outside he will stand by the backdoor and wait to go out! He already wants to do what his siblings do! He loves being outside and doesn't seem to mind the hot weather! 

Carder loves riding his little bike around. 

Carder also loves his big stacking blocks! He only knows how to knock them down, not build them!

Now that is a happy boy! Carder really likes his car! He hasn't figured out how to drive yet, he just likes sitting in the.

Mara is the best big sitter, I mean sister!! She adores this little guy and loves playing with him!

 

Carder is so happy just looking at him makes me happy!

Bath time is a joke! Carder no longer sits down in the tub it's much more fun standing up! Love this little boy! Sure grateful he is a healthy happy kid!
