Dinosaur Park!

The last day of our adventure in Ogden was spent at the Dinosaur Park. This was a dream come true for Ty! I remember taking him here years ago when we lived in Ogden and he was only eight months old. I wonder if that's where his love of dinosaurs comes from?! Well it was a very fun park with lots of things to do. There was also a museum connected to the park. We all had a good time seeing the life size dinosaurs!

There was a place for digging dinosaur bones. Caleb loved playing in the sand!

Mara is not quite into dinosaurs like her brothers but she was a good sport and had a fun time!

This kid is a walking talking dinosaur encyclopedia! At the park we walked around and saw life size dinosaurs. They were statues so the did not move. It was about like a zoo viewing different types of dinosaurs. Ty literally knew every kind of dinosaur we saw! There were plaques with the dinosaur name on it and information about each dinosaur. Before looking at the name of the dinosaur Ty could tell us what it was! He is incredible!

They found the world's biggest dinosaur bone! Well...not really, just something to play on at the playground!

Carder loved the swing at the park! He loved being outside and seeing everything around him.

This little sweetie checking out the allosaurus!

I can't remember the name of this one...you will have to ask Ty!!

The playground at the park was a lot of fun. It was pretty busy there with lots of kids on fieldtrips.

Look! It's the Flintstones!! The kids though this was so funny! They said "Look it's mom and dad!" (From our Halloween last year!)

Yep! Those are some pretty scarey creatures! The funny thing was they could fit through the bars!

Ty thought this was the coolest place ever!

Pretending to be dinosaurs!

Looking tired, almost time to go!

There it is...the meanest, scariest, creature of all the TY-rannosaurus Rex!

This little spiked dinosaur is ready for a nap! He was quite the trooper at the park! He stayed awake the entire time and saw all the dinosaurs! I wonder if he will be a dino-lover like his brother?!

Rock Climbing and HIking!

We really lived it up in Ogden! With only three days we really packed it in! Immediately after the fun museum we took the kids straight to rock climbing. After swimming, shopping, playing at the museum and now rock climbing?! How can these kids have so much energy?! They had an awesome time climbing, they were pros!

Here's the troop! Ready to climb a mountain!

This kid had no fear! Caleb was so amazing to watch, he just climbed up so quick!

He needed a little help at the top but he did it all without ropes attached!

And there he is at the very top! "Push your limits?" Ya! Caleb can push his limits all the way to the top!

Mara didn't quite have the right shoes for rock climbing, but that didn't stop her from climbing high!

Mara wasn't too sure about climbing to the top! She was rather sad and scared!

Sure now she has a smile on her face! She liked being hooked to the ropes rather than scrambling free.

Ty was really into rock climbing! He has done it a couple times before but now he was even more excited about it! He even reached the top of this wall!

And this little guy?! No rock climbing for him but he was sure happy to crawl around and explore the place!

Look at that sweet swingin boy!

They climbed for over an hour! I can't imagine how they had such good upper body strength to keep climbing!

This kid was incredible! He loved rock climbing!

For not being able to take part in the activity Carder sure was happy to just be there!

A fun time climbing now they are ready for a hike!!

There was a really nice walking trail along the river. We took a night walk a mile or so and watched the sunset!

Caleb with his double light saber!! What is it with boys and sticks?! I'll never know, but they sure do love them!

What a great day in Ogden! We had so much fun! The kids were exhausted when we got back to the hotel! It sure is fun to be on vacation!!

Life on vacation!!

It sure would be nice to live on vacation for ever!! The kids loved playing every day and especially swimming in the pool! They asked every minute if they could go swimming! First thing in the morning we headed down to the pool only to be disappointed that the water pretty darn cold! Did they kids care?! Nope! Only Carder! Who cried when I put him in the water with me! We spent most of the time kicking our feet on the side of the pool!

Caleb was a little chilly but he didn't seem to mind! He was so happy to be swimming!

Ty definitely does not need this floating device! Silly kid! He is a good little swimmer! He was just playing around!

Mara thought the hot tub was a lot better!

This sweet little boy was not a fan of the cold water, and the hot tub was too hot for him! But he did enjoy watching his brothers and sister swim and play!

After swimming all morning it was time for the Tree House Museum. What a great place! It was an amazing museum for children. So many fun and hands on exhibits. We had such a fun time!

The boys loved this part of the museum, it was a pully-system where they put a parachute man at the bottom and then pull a rope that takes them up to the top to be dropped from the top and tried to land on a bulls-eye at the bottom! The boys loved this!

The next thing we did was the music room. So many fun musical instruments! This kid had a blast beating his drum!

Mara making her sweet music!

The kiddos worked on this flag puzzle together.

This was a fun map of the US that asked questions and the kids had to try and find the answer on the map.

Little sweetie posing for the camera!

The other fun part of the museum was the play they put on. They asked for volunteers to help act out the story. At first my kids didn't want to participate but since there really weren't many kids there everyone got to help out.

It was a really cute story called Too Much Noise and each child had either a stuffed animal puppet or dress up clothes. Ty was the donkey, Mara was the car, and Caleb was the pig! They did a great job in the play!

Next we went to the Wild West exhibit. Here is my cute little cowgirl!

And check out this awesome kid! Ride-em cowboy!

Is he not the sweetest little cowboy kid you ever did see?!!

Queen Mara at your service! She thought it was pretty fun dressing up like royalty and sitting in the thrown!

Check out that huge chess board! Caleb thought it was a lot of fun playing with the huge pieces!

Caleb liked putting together this knight puzzle!

Ty said this was his favorite thing...building a life size castle with all the pieces. You can move them all around and make it however you want.

The finished castle! Ty could have played here all day!
