Krazy Kidz!!

These kids of mine sure are super cute!! They can be crazy, out of control, wild, and silly at times but I love them all the time! Here are just a few pictures of cute or crazy things they've done lately!

Carder's Crazy hair! After the bath we spiked up Carder's hair it looked so cute!

As the night went on the crazier it got!

Ty thought Carder looked like a rock star! So he put a guitar in his hands so he was a rock star!!

Carder likes playing the game Headbandz....well he likes playing it his way! He liked to tell people what card they have on their head! We can't guess...because as soon as he sees it he says "you are a ...." Kind of takes the fun out of the game! But he also thinks it's super fun to wear the cards!

Caleb made this huge creation all by himself! He was pretty proud of himself and didn't want anyone to touch it until daddy got home from work so he put a 'no tuche = no touchy' sign on it!

We were playing with the random toys box and Caleb found a few things, went and got a few more things from his room, and then said "Look at me mom I'm Harry Potter!"

A minute later he said, "Now look at me! I'm Lord Voldermort!" Too funny!

Valentine's Celebrations!

A few more Valentine events....who knew the day of love could last so many days?! Well it was a truly lovely holiday this year! Nate and I celebrated by going out on a date on Friday night. We did some shopping and then at Rooster's Brewing Company on historic 25th street! It was a fun new place! Then Valentine's nigh we divided up and Nate took Ty to the Banff Film Festival and I took the other three kids to a Weber State Basketball game!

Ty's last Valentine's Box! (Do they make Valetine's boxes in Middle School?!) He came up with the idea to make a Post Office Box! I helped him a little, it turned out to be a fun project we did together!

It's a good thing Nate and I celebrated Valentine's day Friday night, because taking three kids to a basketball game by myself isn't exactly the romantic date I would want on Valentine's day! But it was fun being with my three little Valentine's and cheering on the Wild Cats!

Then we had a quick stop at the store on our way home! I was not too excited about taking three kids shopping Saturday night but it wasn't too bad! We loaded up our car-cart and zoomed through the store as quick as we could! Love these kids! Grateful for a fun night with them! (And Nate and Ty sure enjoyed the Banff Film Festival together! We may have just started a new tradition!!)

Valentine Parties!!

We celebrated Valentines Day not one or two...but four days this week!! Crazy! We had class parties, hot dates, kid dates, dinner dates...just to name a few things! But we had a fun time and I'm glad I was able to be with my kids and help them out in their classes.

Two of my cute little Valentines! Love these two boys!

Caleb celebrated his Valentine party on Thursday. I wasn't planning on helping out because it was Mara's turn but I got a call Thursday morning with a desperate plea from one of the other room moms that needed help! I'm glad I was able to go. Carder loved being part of the party too!

I helped in Mara's Valentine party doing 'Minute-to-win-it' Valentine games. They were a lot of fun and everyone had a good time. Mara is trying to build a tower out of hearts! (It's actually harder than it looks!)

After Mara's class party we stayed at school and went to lunch with Mara. This was our first time in the school cafeteria! The boys loved being with Mara. The funniest thing was when the lunch lady came by and saw Caleb and said "Oh my gosh, there's Mini Ty!" That is what everyone in Price called Caleb! I started to laugh and said "How did you know?!" She said "He looks exactly like Ty in 5th grade!" I was pretty impressed that she knew my kids so well already!!

Then we played on the playground for a few minutes until the bell rang and Mara went to class. Carder did not want to leave the playground, nor did he want to leave the school!

This is one sad face! Someone did not want to leave the school! So sad! Carder had way too much fun! He wanted to stay at school and play all day!

Spring in February?!

This weather is unbelievable! I can't believe it is February and we have no snow and it feels like spring! We even have flowers starting to bloom! It's crazy! I know we are going to pay for it later! It will probably snow in April and be cold all of May, but right now we are just soaking up the sun and enjoying the fun times outside!

It's high time for Carder to learn to ride a bike!! We pulled out his tricycle and he started practicing! He hasn't quite got the peddle motion yet but he will!

Next we practiced on a little bike that was just his size! He couldn't see the purpose of using the pedals he thought scooting with his feet was better! I think we have some practicing to do! But if the weather continues to be this nice he may be riding a big boy bike before we know it!!

Brothers!

The other day Carder and Caleb were sitting by each other on the couch. Carder grabbed Caleb around the neck put him in head-lock and said "TWO BROTHERS!!" It was so funny I grabbed my camera and by the time I got it out Ty had jumped up next to them and said "Three brothers!!"

Love these boys!! I'm so glad they are good friends! I hope they always will be best buddies!!

Creating an Information Station!

I'm not sure if it's the spring-like weather that is getting me motivated to clean and organize my house...or maybe it's just my crazy personality type that likes things neat and organized but I've started doing little projects around the house to make things look better! I have this bulletin board on my wall and it was a mess! We would put up anything and everything and every time I saw it I was disgusted how terrible it looked! I was reminded one day of a talk by Elder Uchtdorf on creating and beautifying things and decided it was time to create an 'information station'!!

This is what our lovely board looked like before! All the information we need but so unorganized and just looks like one big cluttered mess!!!

This is my project after! Much better! Same information...cute pictures...everyone has their own spot! More pleasing to the eye! It wasn't a big project and no one in the family really cared about it but me! But sometimes it's the little things that make a difference!!

This was a clip from President Uchtdorf's talk! I love hearing him speak! He always inspires me! (Click here for the entire Conference Talk!)

Blue & Gold Banquet!

This past week we had the annual Blue & Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts. As a 'tradition' to the Blue and Gold Banquet the scout is suppose to make a cake that goes along with the theme for the night. Our theme was "Going to the Carnival." So Ty decided he wanted to make a 'hamburger cake' to take to the carnival! What is a more appropriate food than hamburgers at the Carnival!?! Well many...many years ago I remembered my brother making a hamburger cake for a Blue and Gold Banquet and thought it wouldn't be so hard!!! So we went for it! And what was even better about how it turned out was the two cute boys that helped make it and working with Ty! It was a great experience!

Cute! Two brothers making a cake together!

Ty should get a prize for being the best big brother! He really is caring and kind!

They even shared the beater together!!

This project was all about teamwork!

Cute chocolate face! Yummy! Licking the bowl is the best part!

About 4 hours later and one totally dirty and messed up kitchen our finished product! Looks good enough to eat! Now that is a BIG mack!!! WOW!

Ty is ready to dig in! He totally ROCKED it! Way to go Ty!

It looks like it could totally be on Man vs. Food and we totally made the World's Awesomest Hamburger cake!

My favorite part was how excited and proud Ty was of his masterpiece! He did a great job!

It is 100% all cake and frosting (with real sesame seeds on top!) We only used two cake mixes and one bag of powdered sugar for frosting!!

It almost looked too good to eat!! It tasted delicious! It won the award for the 'all beef patty award!!'

It's been fun working with Nate in scouts. He has been the Webelos leader and I'm over the wolves so we kind of work together! He is a great leader and Ty is glad he's in there with him!!
