I CAN survive!

For many people this Memorial Day Weekend means recreating, decorating graves, and welcoming the summer season. For me it means single mom weekend! While my hubby is playing deputy down at Sandlake working 3 12 hour shifts with the crazies I am playing and trying to control my three little crazies here! The pay is great for Nate, but having our daddy gone is a total bummer! It's not so bad during the day--I'm used to it right? But it's around 5 o'clock when daddy should be walking in the door and he's not that's what kills me! But I just keep telling myself I think I can, I think I can, I think I can! We miss you daddy!
It helps the time fly by much better when we go on adventures and see fun things. Today we hiked down to Short Beach and had a little picnic. Boy was it chilly! The sunshine can be so deceiving! It looks warmer than it really is!

We hiked down to the beach and along the path we saw this cool hut filled with 'treasures'--things people found on the beach and left.

This little guy is so CHILL!! He just loves the ergo (front pack)! He never complains on our outings! He snuggles right into me and goes to sleep, or looks out and enjoys the ride!
