Too Cute at Two Months!

My baby is already 2 months old! He is still the perfect baby and the love and joy of our lives!! I just can't get enough holds, hugs, kisses and loves from Carder! He is my sweet baby boy!
At Carder's 2 month check up he get a great report! He weighs 13 lbs and is in the 80% and is 24 inches and is in the 85%.

The kids in our family are sure excited about Halloween even Carder is getting in the spirit of the holiday! What a cute little pumpkin!

I am so excited to announce: Carder learned to smile this week!!! Just when I thought it wasn't possible for him to get any cuter he does!

He sure is a happy smiling baby!

Carder also learned to coo and goo!! I love when babies do that!

Carder enjoying some tummy-time!!

What a cute little smirk! He is one handsome boy!

My 3 sweet baby boys at 2 months! Who is who?!
 Carder

My three sons!! I love these boys! I definitely can see similarities between them but they are each so different!

A Walk in the Rain!

The fall weather is here! Although we have had many sunny beautiful autumn days we have had a few rainy cold days! Caleb loves walking in the rain with an umbrella! He just giggles and thinks it is so much fun! I admit, I would much rather stay in my warm dry house but for Caleb I would do just about anything!!

I didn't really think we would be going for a real walk! I thought we would just go down to the corner and see if daddy was on his way home for lunch! But Caleb was determined to do the entire loop!

So with Carder in the front pack and Caleb with his umbrella and me without my jacket we walked along the loop!  Caleb loved every step he took! He had the best time! Carder loved being outside and the walk put him right to sleep! I wish I would have savored the moment more, but I was worried about being back in time for Nate's lunch, having it start to really pour, and being cold without my jacket!

Oh to be three and not have any cares in the world! He just strolled along with no worries and happy as could be being outside hearing the rain drops hit his umbrella!

He sang along the way and just took his sweet time! We actually made it home and as soon as we closed the door it started to pour! Really pour! It even started to hail! I was grateful we were back in our warm safe house just in time! But I really am glad we were able to go for a nice walk in the rain together!

Carder's Baby Blessing

I love new babies and I always look forward to hearing their beautiful baby blessing pronounced by their loving father. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day for Carder's blessing. We appreciate our loving family driving down and being there to support us. What a wonderful day filled with the spirit of the Lord!

Our little family is complete! How I love, love, love my sweet family!

What a special little boy the Lord has sent to our family! I love Carder so much and grateful he is healthy and well.

I am grateful for a loving and handsome husband. I am lucky to be his wife! I am so thankful he holds the priesthood and honors that priesthood. He gave Carder such a beautiful blessing, the spirit was so strong and my heart was full.

All the grandkids but one! Carder is the 8th grandchild on both sides! I was missing my brothers and Nate's brother John today. Wish we all lived closer to each other!

Oh how I love and respect Grandma & Grandpa Card! I look up to them so much and grateful to have them in my life! Carder is named after these wonderful grandparents! Grandpa Card told us that when Carder was given his blessing and his daddy said his name Carder's face lit up and he got a huge smile on his face! He must know the significance and importance of his name Carder Clegg being named after two such wonderful and great grandparents!

This baby is pure joy!

He loves sticking out his cute little tongue!

I am loving every minute and savoring every second of his life!

His cute baby toes! His daddy calls his toe his 'lucky toe'! I still can't believe he has his daddy's exact same crooked toe!

It's Autumn Time!!

I must admit I do not like the fact that the days are getting cooler and the sun is setting sooner and summer is officially over! But the one thing I do love about fall is the autumn leaves changing color! Last weekend the Lewis Family drove down to Price and we took a drive up the Manti La Sal National Forest to see the leaves and the fire damage from the summer forest fires. It was a beautiful fall day perfect for such a trip! ,

The first stop was to the Crandall Canyon Memorial.

The kids loved having little Lincoln with us! They all wanted to hold his hand and be with him every minute! We love little Lincoln!

I just love the bright yellows, dark reds, and awesome orange colors! It is simply amazing!

Such cute and darling kids! They all loved being outside in nature!

Mara can't pass up climbing a tree!

Mara is an excellent tree climber!

I think Mara must have learned how to climb a tree by watching her big brother!

Ty loves climbing trees! He is not scared of heights!

This baby boy loved the road trip! Although Carder's eyes were mostly closed and he slept most of the time we were able to catch a picture with 'baby eyes open'!!

The greatest Auntie in the world!

Thanks Auntie Chelsie for all the cute T-shirts! It's true--Carder is what handsome looks like!!

Four bumps on a log!!

We stopped for a tasty picnic in the woods! We couldn't ask for a nicer day! It wasn't too cool or too hot.

We stopped at a few sights along the way. One of the spots was where the mammoth was dug up.

 Two brothers!!

We love Aunt Beanie!! We went for a nice hike looking for beaver ponds.

Here is a little beaver cutting down a tree! We didn't see any real beavers but we saw plenty of trees that looked like beavers had just been there!

We found a pond with lots of beaver lodges in it. We were hoping to see beavers swimming in the water but no luck!

 Mara is good at balancing!

What an angel! He was a great trooper! He slept most of the trip!

While the boys went fishing with grandpa Mara sewed with her grandma! She said "I rather sew than watch TV!" Mara is really good at sewing thanks to her Grandma.

Field Trip!

Caleb loves preschool! It is such a great experience for him! Everyday he asks if it is preschool day! Preschool is only on Wednesdays so most days I have to say "no, not today!" He is always happy to hear "yes! today is preschool day!" We have a really cute little group for preschool. I love the moms that we do preschool with! They are great friends to me! We are sure blessed to live in such a great neighborhood with wonderful friends, good neighbors, and neat experiences for our kids!
Once a month for preschool Caleb gets to go on a field trip! This past month we went to the Dinosaur Museum. This is Caleb's little group of preschool friends (+an extra little girl and Mr. Lloyd the museum guide!) The children loved going on the tour and playing at the end. Caleb was a little shy at the museum and would not leave his mother's side! But he enjoyed being with his friends and we look forward to the next field trip wherever it is we are going!!

Pool Party!!

What is a mother of four to do when her husband goes out of town for a week? Pack up and go to Grandma Mimi's house!! That is just what we did! The kids were out of school and Nate was in Cedar City so we took advantage of the opportunity and went and visited Mimi & Papa! One of the days we went and saw our cousins and celebrated Kate's birthday.

The kiddos had a blast swimming at the pool party with their cousins!
Ty and Anna are best buds! They love playing together!

Look at those sweet bathing beauties!!

Then we headed over to Jason and Erin's for a BBQ Oooops! Caleb had a little spill with his hamburger!! What a messy kid!

The food was great and the cousins loved being together!

Kate had a princess/pirate party!! (I don't think the boys would have wanted to dress up like princesses!!)

Erin made a great treasure hunt for the kids to go on. They had to solve the clues and find the princesses!

What pretty princesses all dressed up! They found the treasure (a pinata) and had a fun time breaking it open to find candy, jewels, fake money, and necklaces. It was a very fun party!

Little brother!!

Oh how we love this baby brother of ours! Carder is such a sweet and special little boy! How blessed we feel to have him in our family! Here are a few random pictures of Carder taken over the past couple weeks. He is already 7 weeks! How/why does time go by so quick?!

Everyone often tells me Carder is like a little old man!! I'm not quite sure what to think about that!!

Caleb and I were playing blocks one day and it gave me an idea....!! Cute little Carder!

Mara absolutely loves having a baby brother! She is a great big sister! She loves to hold Carder and read to him. He loves to hear her voice!

Carder and Mara are going to have a special relationship!

I just know this kid gains a pound a week and changes everyday! He is getting too big too fast!

Carder is the best little brother! We just adore him and love him so much!
