Giving Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving 2011

We had a splendid feast at Grandma Card's on Thanksgiving day! It was great to spend time with the extended family and eat a delicious dinner! Thank you Grandma Card for a wonderful meal! I still can't believe she is going strong on a fabulous dinner after all these years!

The kids had the best time playing in Grandma's yard! They love climbing trees!



Ty has no fear climbing trees! He will climb any tree he can as high as he can!

The kids also had a blast playing in the leaves!

Here is our little family (and Aunt Chelsie) at the 'kid-table!' The rest of the extended family gathered around the big table!

Everything tasted fabulous especially the turkey! Grandma Card smokes her turkey in the BBQer!! It's Nate's favorite part of Thanksgiving! Nate is set on trying to cook our turkey this way! Hopefully it will taste as good!

2-blue eyed beauties! Mara said to me the other day "Mom, I look just like you!" It's true! Funny she sees that!

What a big boy eating his dinner! His favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving was potato chips! The second thing he liked was potatoes and gravy!

After we ate our meal we went on an adventure up the hill behind Grandma's house. Here Ty is with his stick! He loves finding sticks!

Caleb was happy to go explore the mountain!

Caleb was happy to get out of the house and go for a run! The weather was nice, not too cold but a tiny bit chilly!

Ty loves to explore and be in the outdoors...just like his dad!

The kids just love riding on daddy's shoulders! They think it is a fun ride!

This is what Thanksgiving is all about! Eating delicious food, hanging out with family, watching a little football, eating more good food, and giving thanks for our many blessings!

I took a game for us to play called Gratitude Bingo. We all thought of things we were thankful for and wrote them down on our bingo sheet. Then someone called out the things we came up with. Some of the things on our list that we were thankful for were:

Jesus Christ

Our list continued and there are many more things we are grateful for that could be added!
