Nate and I found our next place to live: Sedona Arizona! Actually he did apply here a few years ago but was accepted for a different job so he withdrew his application. What a wonderful little town! It was right up there with Jackson Hole, Bend Oregon, Moab Utah, Ketchum Idaho...just a really neat touristy town amid the most beautiful red rock country!

We went for a great hike called the Bell Rock Hike. We hiked along this path that lead to a giant red rock shaped like a bell (behind us is where we hiked to). When we got to the other side we were able to explore our own path up the red rock mountain.

You can see Ty in the background trying to find a way up the mountain on his own! That is what we had to climb up with a baby on my front and a kid on Nate's back!

The best part about this hike (and the trip) was being with my four best friends! My kids truly are my best friends and we had so much fun together.

What good little hikers we have! They all did great. Ty's favorite part was scurrying up the mountain on his own.
One of these things is not like the other....

One of these things just doesn't belong!
True story. We opened the cooler for our lunch and found a surprise! Oops! Thank you Caleb--he packed the remote from the hotel in the cooler without us knowing! Yes we did return it to the hotel in Flagstaff on our way home from the vacation!

I am loving your vacation post. And I laughed out loud about the remote. Too funny!
Make sure that I am no longer part of this world before your move to Arizona.
The area does look beautiful. If it is close to Flagstaff if wouldn't be too hot.
I enjoyed sharing your vacation pictures. You are the best mom.
