Monument Valley

What a perfect day to see Monument Valley. Blue skies, a few white puffy clouds--it was an awesome place! We were hoping to be able to go for a hike but not in this park. It is actually a Navajo Tribal Park (not a State or National Park like we are used to) therefore they do not allow hiking except for one trail which was a little too long for our time there. But it was still neat to drive around and view the beautiful red rock country.

Here comes ol' Bessy walking down the road.

Okay, it's not as windy as I make it look!

This was Ty's souvenir for the trip. He wanted this hat so bad (which was 50% off what a deal!) He wore it the entire trip. Now he calls himself a scientist-cowboy.

Is this the hat he lost? What a guy! We enjoyed his more outgoing personality this weekend.
Now is the time to see Monument Valley. Yes! I am envious.
