I have always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon. We only spent one day here, I could definitely go back and spend more time, but it was amazing and I'm glad I could see such an awesome place.

It was rather chilly here at the grand canyon first thing in the morning. It warmed up as the day went on.
Mara has always (and will always) look up to Ty! What a great big brother and a sweet little sister!
I enjoyed the hike up the tower of the visitor's center to the very top to see this view. You don't even need a telescope!
I don't think my kids fully appreciated or grasped the beauty of this place! I think they were more interested in climbing trees and walls.
My favorite part of the Grand Canyon was hiking the rim trail. It went three miles around the top of the Grand Canyon and we were able to see spectacular views.
I loved this hike not only for the views but being a family. It was neat to hold Ty's hand and talk to him as we hiked.
We even had a fun time climbing trees together.
What a neat place! I'm sure glad we came here. I can't wait to go back again some day when the kids are older and we can hike all the way down into the canyon!

Caleb slept most of the hike but enjoyed the last little bit.
Mara hiked a little ways also but got pretty tired at the end.
Ty was a trooper hiking the trail! He was too tired to hike any more and had to lay down on the rocks.

These are great memories for your family. You are blessed to see so much of the U.S.A. Really, you get to see the best parts with Nate's job. No wonder you are so skinny. You always are carrying a child.
