Zuma Beach

Oh how I love the ocean! Oh how I miss the sand and the beach! It was great to go visit the beautiful coast again. We all gathered down on Zuma beach to have a fun afternoon of digging in the sand, and chasing the waves.

We had enough beach toys to build an entire sand castle from here to Timbuckt00, but with so many little people it was nearly impossible to build something that stayed built! Uncle Jason was the most successful, he took the building in the sand seriously and built a pyramid, and other 3D shapes!

It was fun being together at the beach, especially because it was such a beautiful warm day! I only remember a few times the Oregon coast being this nice, usually it was cloudy, overcast, and very chilly--we always had to wear a jacket!

It was warm, but not warm enough to get in the water! Ty and Kate had so much fun being chased my the waves. They waited...and waited... and then started running and screaming!

Looks like the wave caught Ty! Run Kate Run! So much fun watching the kids play at the beach and enjoy every minute of it!

I looked at this picture and thought Ty was having a little 'alone time'. Then I remembered he was bringing up he wet sand so he could build a sand castle.

Caleb's too young to remember playing at the beach in Oregon! He loved it though. He loved playing in the sand and eating the sand and sand toys!

Mara loves the beach! She is my little beach baby! She loved being back in the sun & sand!
