Queen Mary

After we saw all we could see at the aquarium we hopped on a bus and went to take a tour of the Queen Mary luxury cruise ship. It was gigantic! Wow! It is now a hotel for guests to stay in, but much too expensive for our taste!

It was a perfect day for sailing--right Mara!

Papa joined us for the tour--Scott, Lorisa, & Mimi went home. Papa loves boats and could explain all the parts of the boat to us!

Like the engine room and the control panels! Wow--it boggles my mind to think of how that gigantic ship runs!

This is what the hallways looked like for the hotel rooms. We saw in the captains quarters but we did not get to take a tour of the actual hotel rooms. I wondered how they looked today!

Now this is the life! Too bad we couldn't just live the life of relaxation and luxury!

The kids loved having their Papa with them!

Caleb finally decided to wake up after sleeping through the entire tour! At least he got his nap in!

My 3 boys! I just love them!

We hopped on a water taxi that took us back to the aquarium where our car was parked.

The kids loved the boat ride!

That was a lot of fun to see such a historic ocean cruise ship and think of all the famous people that had taken a ride on it many years ago!

It was nice to see this part of the vacation since I missed this tour.

It looks like it was interesting and educational. The kids liked the rides to and from the aquarium.
Caleb needed that nap.

It was nice that dad was able to be with you.
