Our little town of Tillamook doesn't have a lot to offer, but one of the best things about this place is the library! We LOVE the Tillamook library! They have wonderful reading programs for children. On Tuesdays I take Mara to a toddler storytime and on Wednesdays Ty has his storytime. I take a book bag and fill it full of as many books as I can possibly stuff in there. One of the librarians once said to me "Erica, I look forward to Wednesday's to see which books you find to check out!" I think we have read ALL the stories in the children's section at least once and we are starting over and reading them again!
The librarians took the kid's photo and made it into these READ posters and hung them up in the library and posted them online. Ty is holding one of his favorite books: Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? and Mara is holding one of her favorite stories: Good Night Moon. Both of them have these stories memorized and could read them over and over again!
I love to read to my kids. I think it's so important and fun to read to them. This is what it looks like every afternoon after lunch! We also read stories as part of the bed time routine! Books are great! We love to READ!

We love books too! In fact, many times we'll set Garrett down on the floor and he'll crawl past his toys just to get to his book shelf.
Garrett even owns a copy of "Good night moon".
