Oh nuts!
We all make mistakes, but today I made a BIG one---ooops! I have been allergic to nuts my entire life. I stay away from them, I always have. I have found myself in the hospital many times because of eating just a little nut! We found out both Ty and Mara can eat nuts. So I made them both a peanut butter sandwich and I made myself a sunbutter sandwich. I had them all on the table ready to go. Ty came in for lunch and took one, I took the other one. Without even giving it a second thought I started to eat my 'sunbutter sandwich'. It was delicious. I kept thinking 'man this is the crunchiest sunbutter sandwich I have ever eaten!' Then I got to thinking 'wait a second! My sunbutter was creamy!' Yikes! I had four bites left to the sandwich and handed it to Nate to give me a second opinion--yup! It was peanut butter alright! I asked Ty if his tasted crunchy--'nope!' So I just ingested close to entire peanut butter sandwich! I washed out my mouth and ran to the medicine cabinet and took two benadryl pills and got the epi-pen ready. I waited for the first sign of a itchy throat--nothing. No hives, no weezing, no anaphalactic shock! What does this mean? Am I not allergic anymore to peanuts? Did the benedryl kick in quick enough and left me without even the slightest symptom of being allergic? Will I wake up tomorrow with my eyes swollen shut with hives? I have NO idea! It's all so bizarre!

YIKES!!! I thought you were going to say that you had your biggest reaction ever and had to go to the hospital! WOW! That is really crazy. I hope that everything is okay! Too bad it wasn't something really good like Reeses or a Snickers bar! Let us know what you find out!
