Preschool Party!

It's official! Miss Mara completed her first year of preschool! Way to go sweetie! You are such a smarty-pants! Mara loves learning. She loves to read and be read to. Mara loves (I mean loves) homework! Too bad that love probably won't last very long....but every day after school when Ty comes home and does his homework she too wants to do homework! So Mara does workbooks with letters & numbers every day!Here she is all dressed up ready to go to her preschool party graduation! Caleb was so excited to be part of the party too!

We had a fun little back-yard party at one of Mara's friend's house. We had a pot-luck lunch and the kids loved eating on the trampoline.

Here they are! Our little group had 4 girls and 4 boys! I love Mara's preschool. These eight little friends met once a week at one of their homes and each mom took a turn teaching. We had preschool holiday parties and field trips.

Mara loved going to all her friend's houses. I loved having the opportunity to teach. I loved getting to know these cute kids. Mara loved being with her friends.

Caleb wanted to be in the picture so bad with all the kids! Finally when the picture was taken he had his turn to get a photo with the boys!

Another thing about Caleb is he loves holding babies! He kept asking if he could hold Baby Emily--who is only 11 months but is almost as big as he is! He is such a lover boy and gave Emily sweet loves!

As soon as all the girls saw Caleb giving Emily attention they came running to also give her attention! Caleb knows how to get the girls!! Ha!

Because her birthday is in September she would be ready for Kindergarten, but Nate and I have decided to have her be the oldest in her class rather than the youngest--for many reasons! So Mara will have one more year of preschool and it will be with the same group of kids next year. We will meet twice a week instead of once a week. I highly recommend a mom's preschool. It has been a great experience for Mara & me!
