I promise this is the last post about our awesome Fall Break Trip!
Saturday morning, our last day in this beautiful sunny place. Packed it up and hit the trail one last time.
Destination: Morning Glory Natural Bridge
Distance Round Trip: 5 miles
This hike was amazing...one of my favorites. The scenery was spectacular and it was just a really cool hike.

This hike was amazing...one of my favorites. The scenery was spectacular and it was just a really cool hike.

We are all set for a grand adventure! The nice thing about this hike was it was mostly in the shade and it followed the river most of the way.

Here is Princess Mara in a garden full of cacti!

Ty blazing the trail in the early morning sunlight.

Me and My little sweet hiker! She did awesome. Mara hiked all the way up to the bridge on her own!

The scenery was so diverse along the trail. Parts of it were through thick jungly forests like this.

Other parts we were rock scrambling to the top.

And several times (nine to be exact) we had to cross the river!

The river was just beautiful!

To cross we had to step on the stones. I think I was the only one to get my foot wet. We felt like we really were on an adventure!

Ty is a supreme hiker. Glad we started young with our kids!

I LOVE red rock country!!

The troop did it!! If I look exhausted it's because I am! Great hike but I'm pooped!

The natural bridge is right above us.

Under the bridge was a little pond for the kids to throw rocks and sticks in.

Caleb was one happy hiker! He didn't get to hike as much this trip--we would have never made it!

Natural bridges are simply incredible!

Perfect timing: We were able to watch a group repel down the cliff in between the bridge and wall.

Ty was in awe watching the man come down on a single rope! He thought he looked like Spiderman!

Back down the mountain we go! Time to go home.
We sure enjoyed this quick trip. It's sad that camping season is over. Can't wait until Spring when we can go again!

This day was my favorite because there was such great diversity in the scenery. You were able to see the different arches, but cross a river, walk thru a jungle, and stand in a cactus garden.
Where is the closest Motel? I'll make a reservation for Spring!
