Another tradition when coming home and visiting family is having a picnic at Liberty Park. This tradition actually goes back way before the time of my little family coming home to visit, I remember as a kid going to Liberty Park every year for the big Clegg family reunions. It was always a lot of fun to have all the cousins there and play ghosts in the graveyard, kick the can, and hide and seek. Because we have such a big family with lots of cousins it was perfect to play sports-- we always had enough people for two or more teams for baseball and volleyball.This time at Liberty Park we all had a fun time playing croquet!

Papa bought us all tickets to ride one of the rides! Oh what fun to go on the ferris wheel and merry go round! Mara insisted on riding in a car!
The best part of the night was just being together as a family and spending time with each other. It was fun for the cousins to play together and get to know one another better.

I have been reading your blog for a while and thought I should comment. This is Kari (Clifford) we went to High School together and played B-Ball on the same team. Your family is so adorable! I see so much of you in your kids.
