(This is Mara's staged mad face!)So what did our little sweetie win? 3rd Prize at the fair!
Let me back up a little...this week is the Tillamook County Fair! We thought it would be fun if everyone in the family put in an entry into the fair. But we ran out of time Monday night and so I found a few things the kids made previously and Tuesday morning before the deadline I made some cornbread. Next year Nate and I are both going to enter something and WIN!
Well Ty was so excited he thought for sure his turtle and soccer ball would win something. He is a very c0mpetivite little boy and even told his sister "You aren't going to win, I am going to win!"
Mara's cute little 3rd place duck! Ty was a pretty good sport about not winning--either that or we didn't exactly do a good job telling him he lost!
He did a good job putting all these colors together on his soccer ball!
This is our family's favorite cornbread--it is now called the "Loser Cornbread!" But hey! We think it's pretty good so I might have to perfect the recipe by next year and try again!

The cornbread can't be "loser" cornbread if your family loves it. :) Love Mara's button duck. That is way cute!
Loved the crafts and I'm sure the "Loser Cornbread" is delicious!
