Today is a BIG day celebrating the big boy's 4th birthday! Ty is actually in denial about turning 4!! I thought he would be so excited to be bigger and older and when I asked him how he felt being 4 he said, "I don't want to be four, I want to stay 3 years old!" So I guess he takes after his grandma Mimi and doesn't appreciate birthdays as she does! Oh well, he has an entire year to turn four so one of these days he'll be happy to be four!
You would think that of all people to have the 4th of July off Ty's daddy (the government employee) would be home celebrating!! But as luck would have it he's out being the deputy at Sand Lake. Today is one of the biggest days of the year down there but he'll be home shortly to have birthday cake and open presents then we are headed to the beach for a cookout and fireworks.
