November 20 2001.....my favorite day in the world! I married my best friend and eternal companion! I am so happy to have married the most wonderful man in the world. Nate the Great...he really is!! We celebrated our anniversary back in July by taking a wonderful trip to Colorado! On the day of our anniversary though we couldn't help but want to celebrate and do something nice. So I made I ten-course meal and we ate a delicious steak and potato dinner!!
Several years ago Nate gave me a cute little Christmas Cactus for our anniversary. Over the years this little plant has grown and grown to become this amazing beautiful blossoming plant:

The pictures don't do justice! In real life it is absolutely breathtaking! Our little anniversary plant has been moved from state to state and at one point we thought it wouldn't survive another transplant to a bigger pot! But it pulled through and we look forward to seeing it bloom on our anniversary every year!
Simply gorgeous! We tried counting each blossom but we lost track and couldn't count them all! Seeing this beautiful plant reminds me of my marriage and how with each passing year Nate and I grow more and more. Luckily we have grown together and our marriage has grown stronger with each passing day! This little plant had a few struggles and so do we, but we work together and strengthen and support each other. My Christmas Cactus needs water, light, and miracle grow. Our marriage needs love, devotion, trust, good communication.
Thank you for marrying me Nate! I love you! I can't wait to celebrate another 10 years with you...and to eternity and beyond!!
