Saying Good-Bye!

Saying good-buy is not easy! You would think after moving this many times (8) that we would be used to leaving and saying 'adios'--but it's never easy to say good bye to things and people you love. Last weekend my dear friend Angela threw a good-bye party for me and invited the dear sisters in my ward over to her home. I love and will truly miss the wonderful friends I have here in my ward. They have been so good to me and my family and I am grateful for their friendship and kindness. What would I do without a ward family to take care of me and help me?
Good Bye Dear Friends!
Last weekend we also said our good-byes to the Oregon Coast and drove down to Newport for the day. We have so many good memories here on the coast. I am really going to miss the ocean and all the wonderful sights of the scenic coastline.

Good bye rain!
I don't think I will miss the rain, maybe, but I 'm pretty excited for blue skies and sunshine!
We walked along the streets of Newport, with our raincoats and all!

Good-Bye Coastal towns!
It's fun living so close to fun coastal towns and gift shops. We checked out all the suveniere shops while visiting Newport. The kids love playing with anything they could get their hands on without braking! Rocks: perfect!

Good Bye Mo's!
One of our favorite places to eat on the coast is Mo's! We love eating at Mo's! Since this would be our last time eating there we thought why not eat something out of the ordinary: Crab! It's also our last time eating sea food on the coast and since we've never tried dungeness crab we gave it a try! Pretty good, we both shared a plate and felt like it was too much work getting the meat out of the crab to really enjoy! But fun to try new things. I must admit that when I first moved to Oregon I was not a fish eating person. Within two years I tried all sorts of fish and although I still don't love it I'm willing to try it and I've even cooked it on several occasions!

Good-bye Tillamook Cheese Factory!
I love taking the kids to the cheese factory! Even if we don't get ice-cream it's still fun to sample the cheese and watch the workers make and package the cheese.
It sure is a fun place to go! One of the few places really in Tillamook! But maybe now that we live farther from Tillamook we can afford the cheese: it's so expensive here we hardly buy it!

We do however splurge on occasion on the ice-cream! Don't you wish your freezer looked like this?! We have successfuly emptied both freezers so we weren't wasting or moving frozen freezer food! We stocked up on ice-cream however so we could enjoy every last day eating our favorite, creamiest, tasties, most delicous ice-cream in the world!

Good Bye Blue Heron Cheese Factory!
Another fun place the kids and I enjoyed going to was the Blue Heron Cheese Factory to feed the goats. A fun petting zoo with the silliest goats you ever did see! Although it's not as much fun to feed the goats in the rain but come summer time we sure love visiting this place!

This post makes me so sad. I can't wait to miss all the wonderful things the Oregon Coast has to offer. I really enjoyed your talk today and I'm sad I missed out on your party. We were in Seaside.
