Ensign Peak!

This summer we went on an awesome family hike up Ensign Peak! This was a great trail for little hikers! The kids had fun and the end was awesome!
Two cute hiking buddies, taking a little rest!

All the way up the trail I heard: "Take my picture!"
and again...
...and again!! Yup! The entire hike that's what we heard and that's just what we did! But hey! He hiked pretty much the entire trail!
Ty testing out his balancing act on a trail marker! Pretty impressive!
It's a good thing he is so dang cute! I couldn't resist taking his picture so many times!
What a handsome little Hawaiian hiker!
Catch me daddy! Catch me!
Mara also trying to balance...
Almost there!
Pretty tricky!!! Good thing daddy is there to help her!
What a great night for a hike!

And check out the view!! Sweet! You can see all the way down the valley! The kids were having a hard time seeing the temple among all the buildings.

So I zoomed in and took a picture and showed them where it was! Then they were able to focus on the temple and find it! We used this as a good teaching moment of 'staying focused on the temple!" Don't lose sight of the temple!!
I just love my little family so much! It was also incredible to look out over the valley and see five temples (Salt Lake, Bountiful, Draper, Jordan River, and Oquirrh Mountain!) I am so grateful we have temples on the earth! I love to see the temple!!
It's so awesome living up here so close to these mountains! It's feels like home!
