I wasn't sure if I was 'safe' to post this but I am feeling more confident every day! So far so good! I didn't think I would make it this far but I have! Hallelujah! I made it to 24 weeks! This is our little miracle baby! Thank goodness for prayers, priesthood power and a whole lot of faith and hope!! Every day is one day closer! And we are getting more and more excited to meet this little guy!
It's true: It's a BOY! No doubt about it! I have had many (MANY) blood tests done to make sure everything is going okay throughout the pregnancy. One of the tests they did was a chromosome test and the nurse called back to give us the report and asked if I wanted to know the gender! I told her I already knew what it was! I was 99.9% sure the baby was a girl! She said: "Actually it's a boy!" I didn't believe her and was pretty sure the ultra sound would say it was a girl! But alas I was wrong! There was no doubt once we saw the ultra sound it was clear and 100% for certain it was really a boy! Mara is convinced it's still a girl, she wants a sister!! The other day she announced it was half boy half girl! So maybe by the time he arrives she will come to the fact that it really is another brother! I am excited for her to be an only girl! From my experience it is awesome! She will always be our little Princess and the one and only little sweetie!! The other day I was listening to the General Conference talks and heard Elder Bednar's talk on the priesthood. I had a tender mercy moment as the spirit bore witness to me that the Lord was sending another righteous priesthood holder to our home! I am grateful for another missionary! I'm sure he will look just like his two brothers! Caleb is super excited to see his baby brother! In fact he asks everyday "Now can I see the baby?" "When can I see the baby?" It's a little hard for a 3 year old to understand!!
I know 100 days seems like a long time away but I also know as soon as school is out we are going to be having so much fun (and so many doctors appointments) that the summer will go by quickly! I can hardly wait to see those cute little toes and give them kisses! I haven't allowed myself to get excited because I didn't want to be disappointed! Now I'm finally feeling like things are going to be okay! We are going up North to the U of U and seeing a specialist. He is confident that my blood levels are looking good and the baby is growing and developing properly! YAY! Hopefully sometime around August 11 or so we will have a darling little baby boy with big chubby cheeks! As for a name: Nothing yet! Hopefully we have one by August!!
Funny Story: Today Nate came home and saw me. He got this really funny smirk on his face. I asked him what was so funny and he said "How far are you?" I answered: "6 months" I have 100 days to go!! He said, "You are going to be HUGE!" Now most pregnant women would brake out in tears at this response....me on the other hand: I thought it was the funniest comment I had ever heard and I busted up laughing my head off!! The rest of the day I made comments to him about his 'huge wife'!! Thanks Nate for the laugh! It made my day!
It's actually quite interesting Nate's response to my growing belly as to other people! Most people can't believe I am as far long as I am and in fact my doctor said at my last appointment "You probably won't get very big with this pregnancy!" Little does he know my babies pack in the weight the last few weeks and I think we might have another chunky-chubby-cheeked-cute boy!

I don't think you look to big at all! I am glad you had a good laugh about it though! We all can't wait to see the cute little boy!

Congrats Erica! SO happy that things are looking good! 100 days seems like forever, but like you said, I am sure it will go fast with a busy fun filled summer! We would love to have the kids come play while you are at your appointments especially with how many you will start having soon! Let me know if we can help!
