How can it
already be summer and I haven't even finished writing about Spring
soccer?! Life just gets too crazy and busy! Well we had a great soccer
experience. It was rather cold or shall I say it was darn well freezing
most of the time! One game it was 28 degrees and snowing! The games went
on they weren't even canceled!!
Mara
had a great time playing, she only had one other girl on her team and
she hardly came, so Mara felt like she was on a all boys team!
Ty
really improved this season, he focused on the game more and was really
excited about making goals. He scored 10 goals all season!
Ty trying to take the ball from his friend Boyd!
When Mara wasn't on the field playing soccer she was on the side playing with Carder!
Here's Mara's team. She had a really good coach.
Mara is a good player, she just needs to be a little more aggressive!
This was Caleb's first soccer experience and....well, he did great--when he wanted to!
Most of the time Caleb was distracted and not really interested. But this game Caleb was so excited and determined to play he scored three times!
It was pretty interesting to be the coach of 4 year olds! Most of them had never played before and it was their first time! Some of them picked up the skill fast, others didn't even want to kick the ball!
It was fun to watch Caleb score! There's just something exciting about seeing your kids succeed in sports! I love it!
Carder deserves an award for being the best trooper! He was out there in the cold and wind cheering on his brothers and sister! Sometimes Nate was out of town and couldn't watch Carder while I coached so Carder would run up and down the field with me in the front pack! He is our future sports star!
And the real truth is Caleb's favorite part of soccer is definitely the treats at the end of the game!
Here is my cute little team! We had a good season! It was sure fun to be their coach!
