Park City!

When I was kid we would go with our cousins to Park City every Labor Day and stay in a condo and play for the weekend. It was always fun seeing our family and spending time with them. We made lots of memories with our cousins in Park City! Now several years later we just might have started a new tradition: Lowry Party in Park City on the 4th of July!!

This was our view from our condo! It was pretty sweet!! There was a live Bluegrass band playing down below that we could watch and listen to. If you look closely you can see Mimi, Papa, Nate, and Blake down below!!

Papa and Nate chilling on the balcony listening to the tunes and watching the crowds of people!

Three little Monkey's climbing on the luggage cart !The kids thought they were on a real vacation! They were super excited to stay in the condo with their extended family!

Boy were the kids excited to be able to go swimming in the Condo!!

Ty is one happy kid in the swimming pool.

I must be honest: I don't love swimming as much as my kids do but I sure do love watching them swim and have fun!

Ty is a great swimmer. We've been working with him on diving, but he still hasn't quite gotten that yet! He is really good at cannonballs!

Caleb loves doing flips off the side of the pool! No joke he can do somersaults into the pool! He's also really good at belly-flops!

Mara's favorite thing to do in the pool is jump off the side to me and let me catch her....

then swim the the edge and do it again! She could do this all day long! I get rather tired though!

Caleb loves jumping off the side too, however he has no fear whatsoever and would jump off the side with or without a lifejacket! He could careless about drowning and doesn't mind getting water up his nose!

The kids had a great time swimming and splashing and diving and jumping!

After a nice swim and a hot bath these kids are ready for bed! Look how cute they all are in giant bathrobes! Caleb did not want to participate even though there was a white robe for him too!

I was hoping the view from off our balcony would show up in the picture but it really didn't!

The next day we went to the downtown historic part of Park City and walked around.

Three cute kiddos with Lucy the Moose!

We went in some of the shops along the streets of Park City. Our favorite was the chocolate store! I could have eaten one of  everything here!! We did get a few things to try and boy were they tasty!

The whole family--except Jason's family, they were in Alaska!

Grateful for a wonderful family! It was so good to see my brothers! I wish we lived closer and could see them more often! Can't wait for next year to do this again!

The party wasn't over yet! Scott and Lorisa had to fly home to California but the rest of us went on the Alpine Slides! Another fun memory from my childhood!

Ty and Mara were so excited to go on the big huge slide!

I was rather disappointed that I couldn't go on the slides but it wasn't recommended for pregnant ladies!

Caleb didn't want to go on the slide... he probably would have gone and loved it had I gone, but he said he was too small and would go next year! So he waited with me and Mimi at the bottom of the slides for everyone to come back down. It was very hot waiting for everyone so Caleb kept dumping water on his head to keep cool!

Here they come! Blake and Mara riding together!  (Of course! Mara sure has a thing for her Uncle Blake!)
Aunt Maren zooming down the track!

Ty was a little nervous about going down the slide by himself but once he was on he had a great time!

Last but not least Nate the great!! Man I hate missing out on so much fun

On the way home we decided to go up over the mountain. We took the Guardsman's pass down through Big Cottonwood Canyon. At the top of the canyon is Silver Lake. It was so beautiful up there!

We went for a little hike around the lake.

Ty and Mara found a mountain to climb! They never can pass up a good rock climbing adventure!

Ty made it to the very top! It sure makes a mom nervous to watch her kids rock and mountain climb but they sure enjoy doing it!
