Spring Fever

Spring has sprung,
the grass has risen,
my kids feel like they are out of prison!

We are so ready for spring here!
We keep thinking spring is on the way and then we get snow dumped on us!
But this week sure has felt more like spring.
(Don't be misled by the children wearing their coats! Jackets maybe, but they were too warm with their coats on! Today almost hit 60!)
We had a fun afternoon playing in the back yard: blowing bubbles, riding around in the sled, kicking the soccer ball....
It doesn't take much to entertain kids outside--they just love being free and enjoying the fresh air!
Hold on tight Caleb--Mara's taking you for a ride!

A sled can be just as much fun in the spring as the winter!

Ty's smile says it all! We are happy to see the sunshine and have spring here!

What are you day dreaming about Caleb-boy?!

Caleb's pretty entertained with only a shovel!

Speaking of fever.... the past three days Caleb has had a fever. Diagnosis: ear infection. Another bottle of antibiotics please! Not to mention my baby started asthma symptoms of wheezing and coughing. NOOOO, not another asthmatic. It's not a joke any more. I'm sick of all this sickness!!!! Not to mention Nate and I have come down with crudy colds. AHhhhhh!!

Okay I'm done complaining and venting! Today I read a really great conference talk in the November issue by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. He said, "It is often the trial of adversity that we learn those most critical lessons that form our character and shape our destiny."

Spring?!! I See No Spring! Were is the green? Where are the flowers? I'll show you spring... 6 months of it and then 6 months of fall!

Oh thanks Emily--he's a cutie and he is growing up way too fast!
Nate n Sandra---this is what spring looks like in Price! Remember: we live in the desert! I don't know if the grass will get much greener! We're just glad to see it, and not all the snow! Enjoy your green green grass in Oregon!

Cute pictures! I have asthma, and the older I have become the more and more manageable it has become! So, that has been nice! Lol! Spring here is kind of brown!!! :)
